Introduction:
The value of POPT in BMCC network is -70dBm now.For finding the best POPT configuration in BMCC network or particular area, we performed this parameter trial on Oct 17. Detail as follow:
For Inter-cell handover (Intra-bsc)
MS_TXPWR_OPT(n)= MsTxPwrMaxCell(n) - MAX(0,(AV_RXLEV_NCELL(n)-MsPwrOptLevel(n)))
AV_RXLEV_NCELL(n) is the averaged downlink signal level of the adjacent cell (n). The parameter MsTxPwrMaxCell(n) (set for each adjacent cell) is the maximum RF power that an MS is permitted to use on a channel in the adjacent cell (n).
The parameter MsPwrOptLevel(n) (set for each adjacent cell) indicates the optimum uplink RF signal level on a channel in the adjacent cell (n) after the handover. The range is from -110 dBm to -47 dBm.
