Software Engineer (QA/Tester)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·Analyze product requirements; work withproduct management and development

·Define test concepts and test cases,based on the product requirements

·Implement, execute and analyze testcases

·Work with development and productmanagement to resolve identified issues, before, during and after testing (bugadvocacy)

·Define the requirements for testenvironments, based on the test concepts chosen for the project, build andmaintain them

·Work with software development ondebugging and integrating new and existing products

·Aggregate test results; preparepresentations on test progress, issues and product quality

·Deliver presentations to a multi-sitemanagement team

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

·Graduate from university with a degreefrom Telecom, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering

·3+ years experience in telecom industrywith at least 2 years experience of system test

·Good knowledge of mobile telecom 2G/3G(UMTS/EDGE/GSM/TD-SCDMA) with RANand CN interface and related protocols

·Be familiar with test methods, processand tools

·Good documentation capability

·Good understanding of testing concepts(unit/ component/ integration/ feature/ system test), test approaches (whitebox/ black box/ debugging), and test case definition techniques

·Ability to make test plan according tounderstanding of requirements, execute test plan independently

·Good English capability (speaking,listening, and writing)

·Good team work spirit, easy tocooperate with customers and team members

·Capability to work and to solveproblems independently

·Good communication skills

Senior Software Engineer (C++ Developer)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ŸInthis position the individual will work as a software design engineer in theChina Development Center. This person will work within a 3G/4G Network Monitoringand Network Management project team responsible for design, implementation andtest of software modules or applications as part of a development project. Theprogram will be clear customer focus and the close work together with(international) engineers, product owner and customer(s) will be essential.

Ÿ The individual will be responsible fordeveloping protocol decoders and monitoring applications on K18/NSA/GEOproducts, according to 2G/2.5G/3G/LTE and China local standards and providingengineering support to Network Monitoring, Network Management products.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

·Graduate from university with degreefrom Telecom, computer science, or EE.

·4+ years’ experience in telecomindustry, familiar with mobile network protocols, network structure, andnetwork maintenance. Deep knowledge of 3G/4G access network protocols (Iu/IuB)are preferred.

·Familiar with C/C++ language &programming. At least 2 years programming experience in C/C++ within aWindows/RTOS/Linux/Unix programming environment.Java programming is plus.

·Understand software developmentprocess. Preferable good Process and quality Awareness.

·Be able to design, implement, and testsoftware modules independently.

·Strong problem solving skills.

·Preferable good Process Awareness, andExperience of quality management system for software engineering, such as design/codereview and inspection.

·Good communication skill and Englishcapability. Willingness and capability to work with western (Europe, U.S.)engineers.

·Able to travel internationally.
